What is Koi Springs?
Koi Springs is a private vacation rental in Desert Hot Springs designed for relaxing desert getaways, wellness stays, weekend escapes, and longer seasonal visits. Guests enjoy a private saltwater pool and spa, stylish indoor-outdoor living, a peaceful setting, and convenient access to attractions in Greater Palm Springs.
Where is Koi Springs located?
Koi Springs is located in Desert Hot Springs, California, a short drive from Palm Springs and within reach of Coachella Valley events, golf, dining, hiking, and desert wellness experiences.
Can I book Koi Springs directly?
Yes. Guests can book Koi Springs directly through our website for a more personal booking experience and direct communication with the host.
What is the minimum booking?
2-3 nights minimum, depending on the season.
What is the Cancellation policy?
Since our policy is nonrefundable, we highly recommend travel insurance. We reserve the option to cancel your reservation if the rental agreement is not signed within 24 hours of booking. We will always try to reach you before canceling.
How much is the Security Deposit?
Security deposit depends on the number of nights booked. Minimum $500 and must be collected before check-in. If there is no damage to the home, the security deposit will be returned 7 days after your checkout.
Is Pool and Spa heating included in the price?
POOL HEATING (SOLAR AND GAS)
Solar pool heating is included in the price and is available from June to September (seasonal). Natural gas heating is available on demand for an extra daily fee in cold winter months from October to May. The price depends on the season and outside temperature. On checkout, you will have the option to add pool and spa heating to your reservation. If gas pool heating is purchased, spa use is unlimited.
SPA/JACUZZI GAS HEATING
Complimentary Spa heating (natural gas) is included in the rental price for one-time daily use. The spa is on the timer 2 hours (winter) and 1 hour (summer), and it takes 30-45 minutes in the winter to heat the spa to 100 degrees. If the spa button is pressed more than once, spa heating will be $50/day. If gas pool heating is purchased, spa use is unlimited.
Is smoking or vaping allowed?
Smoking or vaping is NOT allowed inside the house and 15 feet away from all doors and windows. Smoking and vaping are allowed ONLY in the DESIGNATED AREA where you can find ashtrays. Please dispose of cigarette buts in the provided ashtrays and empty ashtrays when you depart the home.
May I bring my pet?
Pets or animals of any kind are NOT allowed for the safety of the koi fish and the host's allergies. If you bring your pets, this will result in immediate EVICTION with NO REFUND for any unused portion of the stay, and the security deposit will be forfeited.
May I charge my Tesla vehicle?
Yes, please let us know if you are planning to charge your Tesla. We will provide instructions and access to the charger. $25/ charge
Are parties allowed? May I invite others who are not listed on the rental agreement?
Unfortunately, vacation rentals are NOT suitable venues for organized events such as weddings, graduation parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, etc. If you feel your plans are small enough in scope that they would be no different than a typical guest stay (max 8 people), we welcome you to inquire with us, and we will assist as best as we can. This is NOT A PARTY HOUSE TO INVITE OTHERS and can lead to immediate EVICTION with NO REFUNDS of unused stay, and the security deposit will be forfeited. - Enjoy yourself, but treat the house as if it were your own home. - You shall be held legally responsible for the compliance of all occupants.
